| Upon arrival, units confirmed an active brush fire burning approximately 600 feet into the woods, requiring a coordinated effort to prevent further spread.
The crew from 47 Engine 2 made it to the area with water cans to slow the fire's progress. 47 Engine 1 and 47 Truck worked to stretch hose lines through the brush to establish a steady water supply, while the crew from 47 Rescue assisted with the extensive overhaul process.
Thanks to the hard work of all responding members, the fire was successfully contained and extinguished. All units were back in quarters after three hours of operation.
