| On Thursday night, members of the Park Ridge Fire Department attended an insightful lecture at Teterboro Airport focused on aircraft emergencies and crash case studies relevant to what we could respond to. We also had the opportunity to get hands-on with an Airport ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) truck—a piece of equipment designed for rapid response in aviation incidents.
A huge thank you to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for hosting us and providing this valuable learning experience. Members of Park Ridge Fire Department take pride in training for all types of emergencies.
