PR-2

Passenger's Side First Compartment
The lower shelf of this compartment contains a tool box and several utility tarps.  The second shelf has several nozzles that attach to the hoses that are carried on the truck.  Carried on the third shelf is a collapsiable hand truck and on the fourth is an attachment to supply foam to the on board Class A Foam System.
Passenger's Side Third Compartment
The third compartment contains several hand tools that are frequently used by firefighters.  There are several variations of sheet rock pullers as well as a sledge hammer.
Passenger's Side Third Compartment
This compartment contains a small folding ladder pictured in the upper half of the compartment.  On the bottom right hand side of the compartment are two portable gas powered generator and on the left is chain saw which is used for ventilation.
Ladder Rack
PR-2 is equiped with a hydraulic ladder rack which stores a 35' foot exstension ladder as well as 14' roof ladder.  When the rack is stowed it is located above the compartments well out of reach, when it is lowered is easily accessible.
Rear Compartment
The compartment in the rear of the truck houses all of the electrical equipment.  Seen here is a "Smoke Ejector" and two portable cord reels.  In the upper right hand corner is a cord reel which is mounted to the truck and is powered by the trucks on board generator.
Driver's & Passenger's Side Under Cab Compartment
This compartment contains tools that are often used by crews during basic entry and seach of a building:  a water can and set of irons, which consists of a halligan tool and a flat head axe.  On the driver's side there is;tool called a Hydra Ram which is used in forcible entry.  The passenger's side contains several spare SCBA bottles.
Driver's Side Second Compartment
This compartment contains a portable master stream device as well as an additional nozzle. Also is in this compartment is the‚Smoke Detector Kit‚ which is used to clean out smoke detectors. Pictured to the far right is Class D fire extinguisher, this type of fire extinguisher is used for combustible metal fires.
Driver's Side Third Compartment
The third compartment houses water tools and appliancesA water tool would be a wrench that is used on hose or a hydrant. The appliances would be couplings or adapters that are used to link to together hoses. There are two‚“Pony Lengths" of 5" hose which are used to make up shortages in the supply hose that is carried on the rear hose bed of the truck.
Pump Panel
The pump panel of PR-2 is equipped with electronic flow meters as well as pressure gauges, a first for the department. Also on the panel is the control system for the onboard class a foam system.
Crew Cab Compartment
This compartment located in the crew cab houses several different pieces of equipment.  The yellow bag in the lower left hand is a medical kit.  Located next to the medical kit is an Automatic External Defibrillator (A.E.D.).  The top shelf contains one of the departments two Thermal Imaging Cameras.  Not picutured is a gas meter which is used to detect carbon monoxide.
