PRFD Participates in Safety Town
Posted by: Admin on Monday, May 24, 2010 - 01:41 PM
Department News On Monday 5-3-10, PreK to 1st Grade students participated in the first week of the annual Safety Zone with training provided by the Park Ridge Fire Department. Approximately 75 children were trained how to escape a smoke filled dwelling using the trailer provided by the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute set up at West Ridge School. There was also “hands on” fire extinguisher training given to all.

Much thanks to the event organizers, the school staff and those firefighters that spent the afternoon running the operation.
